Blue Demon Jr., also known as El Hijo de la Leyenda Azul (The Son of the Blue Legend) is one of the most important luchadores today. He inherited the name from his stepfather, the original Blue Demon, one of the greatest luchadores is the history of Lucha Libre, and regarded as a superhero in Mexico.
Born in Mexico City, he trained under the guidance of Blue Demon, Rolando Vera, Rafael Salamanca & Pepe Mendieta, and began wrestling professionally since 1985 in the city of Tijuana, one of the epicentres of Lucha Libre in Mexico.
He is currently one of the most successful luchadores in Mexico, a film star and also a comic character in Cartoon Network’s Mucha Lucha animations.
